Victoria and I have been quiet on Facebook since our visit to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) last week. There was little good to say. NIH recommends adding radiation chemo to “buy myself time” as they search for clinical research trials I might qualify for.
Meanwhile, Facebook is reminding me that my birthday is next week, and wouldn’t it be nice to donate my birthday to a fundraiser?
My own hardships haven’t stopped others from experiencing their own but has made me less attentive. I wanted to vomit this afternoon when I learned today that two different friends had passed in these last two weeks
