I really like how the new blog logo turned out! … Using a lathe blueprint with “LATHE OF DREAMS” as a color dodge on top of the blueprint made for a striking logo.
BACKGROUND:
I owned the domain “Lathe of Dreams” for nearly 3 decades before making the jump to Tayledras. Both are nods to Ursula K. Le Guin (“Lathe of Heaven”) and Mercedes Lackey (The Valdemar Series). The concept that we are masters of our own reality and crafters of our own fate (Ursula Le Guin, Mercedes Lackey, Philip K. Dick) is one of my favorite themes in film and literature.
