“Nana korobi, ya oki” which means “Fall seven times, stand up eight” is a ことわざ (諺), or “kotowaza” (Japanese proverb).
Someone sent me this beautiful shirt in the mail today, but with no return address, labeling, or papers. Whoever sent this to me, THANK YOU (どうもありがとうございました Dōmo arigatōgozaimashita) so very much!
