Born on Tuesday, November 7th, 1972, this last Sunday was my 49th birthday. It was truly special and an honor to spend it together as family as we enjoyed good food, good movies, and time well-spent together over the weekend.

After the last few years, it was indescribably nice just to be home, together with family, enjoying the weekend together. For the past few years, my birthday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years have been spent with more time in the hospital than at home. This was my first birthday in a few years that I could say that I was happy, healthy, and together at home.
Given how immunocompromised I remain, it means Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years will be smaller this year. Vicky will visit our family and friends for us, but I’ll keep my visits to virtual and phone.
