Our Home Office
After a decade of using a 32" 3K QHD monitor as our home office, we finally upgraded to a curved 49" 5K DQHD monitor for our home office.
It is SIMPLY GLORIOUS (I'm finally “living the dream!”)😁✌
I’m running 120fps 5K (5120×1440@120Hz) with HDR10 on a 4.7Ghz AMD Ryzen 9 with Nvidia RTX 3080 as our home office and gaming workstation!
Working from home and gaming will never feel the same again!!🎮✌💕
Why "Tayledras"
Meaning
The name Tayledras has its origins in the Kaled'a'in word Taylesederas, which means 'Brothers of the Hawks.' This is a reference to the bondbirds the Clans bred with the use of magic. They also bred the battlesteed lines, which the Shin'a'in Clans maintain.
The Tayledras are strongly analogous to the Native American peoples of the more wooded Eastern United States, such as the Mohawks.
References
- The concept of Tayledras comes from Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar Chronicles, roughly translating as "Shaman".
- Tayledras reminded me of Ursula K. LeGuin's society of the Kesh people depicted in Always Coming Home and other of her works.
